We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Tech (CST) to join a fantastic surgical team in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating surgical needs
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to all infection-control and safety protocols
• Prepare and handle specimens for laboratory analysis
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and prepping
• Operate and troubleshoot surgical equipment
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, RNs, anesthesia providers, and other team members
• Ensure proper care, cleaning, and storage of surgical equipment after procedures
• Support turnover of operating rooms between cases

Requirements

Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted)

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of surgical tech experience preferred; new grads welcome depending on facility
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and OR procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to surgical team needs
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move equipment as needed
