We are seeking dedicated and skilled Medical Assistants to join a fantastic healthcare team in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate has experience in Primary Care or Orthopedics. Specialty experience is not required, but at least 1 year of active experience in a medical facility is needed. Certified/Registered MAs preferred. If you are a good fit, please apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Room and prepare patients for the visit; take vitals and update history
- Assist with wound care and orthopedic procedures
- Catheter (Foley/Straight) inserts; injections and blood draws
- Educate patients on medications and answer questions
- Complete records of examinations, treatments, and test results
- Maintain a safe, secure environment and comply with regulations
Qualifications:
- Certified or Registered preferred
- Previous Orthopedics or Urology experience needed
- Surgery scheduling and/or insurance authorization experience a big plus
- Reliable work history; able to multitask in a team environment
- Solid medical terminology, great bedside manner, strong communication
- Good phone skills and computer knowledge
Hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Compensation: $16+ per hour depending on experience, discussed at interview.
