The ideal candidate:

• Prior primary care experience preferred
• Demonstrate proficiency in phlebotomy, injections, childhood vaccinations, and EKG’s.
• Proficient in EMR/EHR systems, prior authorizations, and also have a basic understanding of the referral process to ensure smooth care coordination.

Requirements:

• Must have seasoned experience in a medical facility
• Must be reliable, previous work history/longevity will be considered
• Must have reliable transportation and, if applicable, has emergency child care coverage available to ensure attendance on scheduled days – especially on Fridays, which is mandatory.

Hours:

• three full days: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8am-5pm
• Availability is needed on a PRN basis occasionally to cover absences/vacation days for our lead medical assistant Mondays and Tuesdays from 8am to 5pm. This would be an infrequent opportunity for extra hours. This is a part-time position only. Please only apply if you are seeking part-time hours.

Pay Rate:

• $17-$20/hr. to start, based on skill level.
• Fluent Spanish-speaking is a plus, $1 pay increase per hour if able to translate medical information/terminology during visits and over the phone.
