Job Summary: As a Nurse Practitioner with expertise in Nephrology, your essential role will encompass the evaluation, diagnosis, therapy, and supervision of patients battling kidney-related diseases. You will join forces with a team of healthcare specialists to deliver all-encompassing care and backing to our patients, guaranteeing optimal results.

Primary Duties:

– Patient Evaluation: Perform comprehensive evaluations on patients with renal conditions by studying medical histories, conducting physical exams, and administering diagnostic tests.

– Diagnosis & Therapeutic Plans: Apply your Nephrology knowledge to identify diseases and formulate appropriate treatment plans for patients that may include medication management as well as dietary guidelines & lifestyle changes.

– Dialysis Supervision: Oversee dialysis procedures ensuring safe delivery of care for hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis reliant patients.

– Patient Education & Counselling: Guide patient families about renal diseases along with different treatment alternatives while offering emotional support during their chronic kidney disease journey.

– Teamwork: Work closely alongside nephrologists, registered nurses etc., coordinating patient care using a multidisciplinary approach.

– Documentation: Maintain precise patient records inclusive of medical history along with other pertinent details.

Requirements:

– Graduate degree in nursing specializing in Nephrology
Current license as Nurse Practitioner within Oklahoma
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner focusing on Nephrology (CNN-NP or equivalent)
At least two years’ experience as Nurse Practitioner within this specialty
Strong ability to clinically assess situations along excellent diagnostic skills
