We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistants to join a fantastic healthcare team in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will have experience in either Primary Care, Orthopedics, or Urology. Specific specialty experience is not a requirement, however, at least 1 year of active experience in a medical facility is needed to qualify. Certified/Registered MA’s preferred. Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

• Room and Prepare patients for the health care visit
• Take vitals, update patient history
• Assist with Wound Care, Orthopedic procedures
• Catheter (Foley/Straight) inserts
• Injections and Blood draws
• Educate patients by providing medication information and instructions; answering questions
• Complete records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

Medical Assistant Qualifications:

• Certified or Registered preferred
• Previous Orthopedics or Urology experience needed
• Experience with Surgery Scheduling and/or insurance authorizations a HUGE PLUS!!
• Reliability – previous work history/longevity will be taken into consideration
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team-oriented environment
• Should possess a solid understanding of medical terminology
• Great customer service skills/bedside manner
• Good written/verbal communication skills
• Phone skills and computer knowledge

Medical Assistant Hours:

• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Compensation:

• $16+ per hour depending on experience and discussed in the interview.
