We are currently seeking a dedicated Medical Biller with Insurance to join a fantastic team in Tulsa, OK. Top candidates will have at least 1 year of active experience in medical billing and insurance follow-up procedures. The successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring patients understand their insurance coverage and are aware of their financial responsibilities for healthcare services.

Medical Biller Responsibilities:

• Secure billing and collection of patient due amounts prior to service delivery.
• Verify insurance benefits for patients, confirming that procedures are approved by the payer.
• Accurately input and maintain up-to-date patient insurance details within our system, guaranteeing precision in the records.
• Engage in regular communication with insurance companies via phone to validate coverage information.
• Act as a knowledgeable adviser to patients, clarifying their benefits and helping them comprehend their entitlements under their policy.
• Educate patients on what is included in their policy regarding coverage, aiding them in understanding why certain services may not be covered.
• Assist patients with making financial arrangements for non-covered services by discussing various payment options suitable within their budgetary constraints.
• Perform administrative tasks as required.

Medical Biller Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory
• Proficient typing skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• At least 1 year of experience in medical billing and insurance follow-up.
• Exceptional multitasking abilities capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Evidence of meticulous attention to detail and organizational prowess for precise record keeping
• A team player attitude is essential as you will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals aiming to deliver exemplary patient care

Compensation:

• $17.00-$22.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
• No holidays, evenings or weekends
